- Preheat oven to 350°
- In another small sauce pan( or microwave, if you prefer) melt butter down with a pinch of salt and what ever else spices you prefer
- Once fries come to just about cooked, strain, place in a bowl, toss with the melted butter and arrange uniformly on baking sheet
- Bake continuously, checking periodically
- Chop green onions for garnish and set aside. Dice yellow onion and carmelize in pan with olive oil.
- Chop parsley to toss finished fries in
- Mix together mayonnaise, ketchup & relish. You may like the sauce differently– so make it to taste :) place in fridge to chill
- Take fries from oven and toss in bowl with cbopped parsley. Transfer fries onto oven-safe plate and top with sliced cheddar.
- Place fries back in the oven to melt the cheese, for only a few minutes. (Sometimes, i will put the sauce followed by the carmelized onion on top for the melt)
- Remove from oven, top with sauce and carmelized onion. Garnish with chopped green onion
