- Take 500 gm Beef
- Use 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- Provide 5 small cardamom

- First of all, we have to grind all garam masala for this, put small cardamom, black cardamom, cloves, black pepper, cumin seeds in the grinder and grind it and set a side
- For marination take beef in mixing bowl, add ginger garlic paste, salt,yoghurt, lemon juice and one teaspoon grinded masala.mix well and rest it to marinate for 7 hours.
- Take a pan, add 1 tsp oil and raisin.stir fry raisin for 2 minutes over medium heat. remove and set a side.
- Add 1 tsp oil, almonds in pan and roast the Almonds for 3 minutes over medium heat then remove it and set a side.
- Now add 1 tsp oil,carrots,1 tbsp sugar and stir fry the carrots over medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Then remove the carrots and set aside
- Put 1/2 cup oil,onion in a pan. Fry the onion till light goldenbrown then add marinated beef to it. Cook for few minutes on medium flame then add 3 cups water and cover it to cook on low flame for 40 minutes or until beef tender.
- When beef is tender remove all meat from the stock and add rice to it.add salt and all remaining garam masala, water according to rice in it. Cook the rice in high flame until the water is dry
- Now add 4 tbsp oil and beef in another pan.roast the meat on high flame until its golden brown,remove and set a side
- When the rice water dry slow the flame add roasted beef, carrots, raisin and almonds. Cover the lid and cook 10 minutes on low flame.
- Serve this delicious beef Afghani pulao with raita and salad.
