Just about every article you read about restoring your health or weight loss is going to tell you to ignore the drive through and cook all of your meals instead. There’s some benefit to that. But at times the last thing you would like to do is prepare a whole dinner for yourself and your family. Sometimes you just want to reach the drive through along the way home and call it a day. Why shouldn’t you be able to do this from time to time and not have a bunch of guilt about slipping up on your diet? This can be done because lots of the popular fast food spots are attempting to make their menus healthier now. Here is the way to eat healthy and balanced when you visit the drive through.
Choose a drive through depending on if it has more healthy options available. Arby’s as an example, doesn’t serve burgers. Instead, the choices consist of roast beef and chicken sandwiches, wraps and big salads. Wendy’s, while no stranger to the hamburger, also includes plenty of other meal choices: large salads, large baked potatoes and other tasty items fill its menu. Not everything is McDonalds featuring its deep fried chicken parts and also other terribly unhealthy items.
Traditional logic tells us that one positive way to get healthy and lose fat is to drop the drive through and to remove fast food restaurants from your thoughts. While this is usually recommended all you need to do is make a few good choices and traveling to the drive through isn’t anything to worry about–when you do it in moderation. Sometimes what you require most is just to have another person do the cooking. When you want wholesome menu items, you do not have to feel terrible about visiting the drive through.

- Get 3 tbsp olive oil, extra virgin
- Get 2 tbsp cavenders© greek seasoning
- You need 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- You need 1 juice of 1 large lemon
- Provide 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions to make Brad's Greek style pork:
- Coat meat with olive oil. I do this in the vessel that i am cooking it in
- Combine greek seasoning and oregano. Rub on both sides of the meat
- Drizzle lemon juice over meat
- Sprinkle parsley on top
- This can be cooked either in the oven or crock pot. I do both ways. The oven requires a little more attention nor to let juices run dry before meat is done
- If cooking in a crockpot set on low and cook for 8-9 hours do not lift lid for the first 4-5 hours
- If cooking in the oven, bake at 250 for 3-4 hours covered with foil. After 2 hours check every half hour to make sure that the juices do not run dry. Add a little water if needed
- Meat is done when it is falling apart
