- Use 1 kg Rice (Basmati or any Long grain Rice)
- Take 4 Tomatoes
- Take 5 Onions (sliced)
- Prepare 4 tbsp Garlic (pounded)
- Provide as needed Whole Garam masala (few Cinnamon sticks, 2-3 Bay leaves, 1/2 tsp Cloves and 1 tsp Blackpepper)
- Provide 2 tbsp Cummin seeds
- Provide 5 Potatoes (halvd)

- Provide 1 kg Mutton or Beef Steak or 1 Chicken (pcs)
- Use 1 tbsp Ginger (pounded)
Instructions to make Whosayna’s Pillao:
- Braise onions in 1/2 cup ghee mixed with 1/2 cup oil till brownish colour add garlic and whole garam masala,
- Now add tomatoes, ginger and saute till paste like add water and meat close the lid and keep on boil till it's tender.
- Now remove the broth of meat in a pot and keep on flame if water is less in broth can add little water then add potatoes and cook them till almost done.
- Add rice and cook and dry up the water a little then simmer till done. - If using charcoal stove it's much yummier.
