  5. Prepare 200 grams Mushrooms, sliced
  6. Take 2 tbsp Plain flour
  7. Provide 2 large washed potatoes, large cubes

  9. You need 1 1/2 cup Beef stock
  10. Use 4 Sprigs thyme
  11. You need 375 ml Lager beer
Instructions to make Beef & Beer Casserole:
  1. Preheat oven to 180*C.
  2. Prep beef, set aside. Prep bacon, garlic leek and mushrooms- set aside.
  3. Fry beef in batches until you get some good colour and set aside.
  4. Add a little more oil and fry leek, bacon, mushrooms and garlic for around 5 minutes or until onion has softened.
  5. Return the beef to pan with flour. Cook for 1 minute and add potatoes, thyme and bay leaves.
  6. Stir in beer and stock, pour into a large casserole dish- cover and bake for 2 hours.
  7. Remove thyme and bay leaves, serve with crusty bread.
